The Beginning of the Project

Our Idea

Our Sunderland College Promotional video will feature a mixture of still and moving images to highlight the best parts of our college. Instead of using music in our video, we will interview students and teachers. To engage our audience (15-19), we will have a fast-paste video and incorporate jokes to make them laugh.

This is the initial idea for our promotional video.

The questions for the student interviews-

-What inspired you to come to Sunderland college?

-What course did you decide to study and why?

-How are you enjoying college so far?

-If there was anything you could change about the college, what would it be and why?

-Would you recommend this college to anyone?

The questions for the teacher interview-

What made you decide to work at Sunderland college than another college, and why?

Audience Feedback

For our audience feedback, we decided to create a slideshow presenting our idea.

College Promotional Campaign Presentation

Above is the slideshow of our PowerPoint presentation. At the end of the presentation, we asked if anyone had any questions. Also, we created an online survey for the class to complete for our audience's feedback. Some of the questions we put on the survey were, what did you like? What didn't you like? Should we add or change anything? Why did you come to Sunderland College?

Today in class, we presented our project to the class to get feedback on our campaign. Some of the feedback is shown above; one question we asked was whether you would improve or change anything and why. Some of the answers we got were to add some background music. We also asked the class why they applied to Sunderland College to better understand why they came to this college. After we received all the feedback, we came together as a group to go over what the class had put down for what we could improve. That's where we got the idea to interview the staff and shorten the time for the intro and outro.
